With severe thunderstorms tearing through Brisbane last week and millions of dollars worth of vehicle damage caused by large hails stones, it's important to understand the process of repairing your Opti-Coat with your insurance company. Here are some important steps.

  1. Contact your Brisbane Opti-Coat Paint Protection dealer and advise them of the damage to your vehicle. Advance warning of any reapplication requirements can avoid any unnecessary delays in your future booking.
  2. Advise your insurance company of your preferred dealer for reapplication of Opti-Coat after repair work is carried out. DO NOT accept the insurance company's preferred paint protection applicators as it is highly likely these applicators do not have access to Opti-Coat, and may apply an inferior product to your vehicle.
  3. Any repainted panels will require a minimum 7 day curing time prior to reapplication of Opti-Coat. Avoid any exposure to corrosive substances during this period.
  4. Contact Us or your local Opti-Coat dealer for any further advice as needed. It is important to us that your vehicle is well cared for in this situation, and we are more than happy to assist with any enquiries.
