Optimum Polymer Technologies (OPT) work closely with car manufacturers, paint manufacturers, and other OEM suppliers to develop the most advanced automotive detailing products in the marketplace.

Optimum are fully committed to manufacture these products with the environment in mind. Starting with the developmental stages in the labs and including manufacturing process, consumer usage, and finally waste disposal.

Each year Optimum wash products save millions of liters of water from being wasted as well as protecting our storm drains and drinking water from contamination. Optimum's water-based products reduce thousands of gallons of petroleum distillates from entering the atmosphere, helping to protect the ozone layer.

Optimum's premium Opti-Coat range has transformed the car paint protection industry in Australia and world wide, by providing genuine products that perform at and above the clients expectations.

Our History

2001

Optimum Polymer Technologies founded in the USA by Dr. David Ghodoussi. An Organic Chemist with a background in the research and development of polymers and automotive paint formulations.

2004

Testing on first generation Opti-Coat Pro commences.

2008

Opti-Coat Pro released to the professional market with great success, and amazing results never seen before in the industry.

2009

Opti-Coat Pro launched in Australia by Zen Automotive Suppliers Pty Ltd for the aftermarket sector. Network grows to over 60 dealers in all states.

2013

Opti-Guard range of interior coatings for leathers and fabric released to market.

2015

The second generation of Opti-Coat Pro. Opti-Coat Pro+ released to market. A two part system that increases gloss, hydrophobic effects while maintaining the original integrity of the base coat that Opti-Coat is renowned for.

2016

The first branded Opti-Coat Store is opened in Alexandria, Sydney.

2017

Opti-Coat PPF is released to market providing clients with long term stone chip and impact protection to compliment the Opti-Coat ceramic coatings.

Opti-Coat Maintenance Line is released to market to meet the demand for high quality car care products for Opti-Coat clients to maintain their vehicles.
